The MGX Black Surf 9.0 reel has been revamped both in design and internal structure. One of the major changes made was the incorporation of a main gear made of aluminum and steel alloy, providing greater durability, resistance, and strength. As for the body, the quality of its composition was improved, achieving a lightweight of 570g.

The MGX Black Surf 9.0 reel is designed for the “Surfcasting” enthusiast. Its robust body is composed of a combination of high-quality materials such as graphite and ABS plastic, achieving high durability and lightness. Structurally, it is equipped with 7 sealed stainless steel bearings, plus 1 roller bearing located in the line guide, with the intention of presenting a perfect spooling for achieving long casts with minimal friction.

Another very important feature of this reel is the handle screwed to the crown, which provides greater torque power and undergoes less wear over time, avoiding witnessing looseness, a characteristic often noticed in most medium to medium-low range reels.

It also features a fabulous brake system called “Quick Drag,” which allows closing the brake completely by turning the thread one and a half times and releasing it by performing the same number of turns counterclockwise.

Lastly, like all MGX® product range, this reel comes with all technical support available in-store, from spools, covers, pick-ups to entire bodies.
